💊 Taking TCM herbs correctly - why more tablets and more time?
Western medicines are isolated single molecules in high concentrations - one active ingredient, one target. Like an arrow: fast and precise. That's why a single tablet is often enough.
TCM herbal mixtures work differently. Each formula contains several plants with hundreds of compounds that work in synergy - like an orchestra, not a soloist. The individual dose per compound is lower, but the sum unfolds a broad, profound effect. This is why more tablets are needed per intake - and why the side effects are generally milder.
And why so long? Western painkillers suppress symptoms in an hour - but the cause remains. TCM herbs change the pattern that creates the discomfort. The difference is like between a painkiller and physiotherapy: the painkiller works immediately, but physiotherapy heals. And healing takes time.
General intake recommendation:
(unless otherwise stated on the respective product page or by your TCM therapist)
✓ Dosage: 2x daily 4-6 tablets (depending on the formula)
✓ Duration: 6-12 weeks so that the body can really change its pattern
