Chinese herbal mixture: Weidinger W26 - Facilitate breathing
Mischung nach Dr. med. Georg Weidinger aus seinem Buch „Der Goldene Weg der Mitte“ (erschienen im OGTCM Verlag, dem Verlag der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für TCM), Buch Seite 305.
»Liegt Nebel im Tal, hilft kein Drängen — er weicht dem aufsteigenden Wind.«
So beschreibt die Lehre der TCM den zähen Schleim. Diesem Wind widmet sich die Komposition, der W26 folgt.
WAS MACHT W26 BESONDERS?
Construction Method: Samen, die absenken
Auffällig viele Zutaten dieser Rezeptur sind Samen und Früchte — Weißer Senf (Bai Jie Zi), Perilla–Samen (Su Zi), Aprikosenkern (Xing Ren), Lepidium–Samen (Ting Li Zi). In der Bildsprache der Materia Medica gelten Samen als „schwer“ und dem Absenken zugeordnet.
Die Herkunft: Aus dem „Goldenen Weg der Mitte“
W26 stammt aus Dr. Weidingers zweitem Buch, erschienen im Verlag der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für TCM — einer Sammlung, die stärker auf modulare Kompositionen setzt als die „Chinesische Hausapotheke“.
In der Systematik der TCM gehört eine solche Komposition zu den Mustern Schleim–Feuchtigkeit and Schleim–Hitze der Lunge.
Acht Zutaten wie ein klärender Luftzug — sie lichten, was sich verdichtet hat.
THE HERBS IN THIS RECIPE
Klassische TCM–Rezepturen sind aufgebaut wie ein Hofstaat: Kaiser, Minister, Assistent und Bote — jede Zutat hat eine definierte Rolle im Gefüge:
Mustard seeds | Bai Jie Zi (Sinapis Semen): 15%
KAISERKRAUT
Die Samen des Weißen Senfs Sinapis alba — derselben Pflanze, aus der Tafelsenf entsteht. Die kleinen, hellen Körner sind scharf–aromatisch.
Perilla seeds | Su Zi (Perillae Fructus): 15%
KAISERKRAUT
Die reifen Samen der Perilla Perilla frutescens — derselben „Shiso“–Pflanze, deren Blatt (Zi Su Ye) in der Küche jedem Sushi–Teller beiliegt. Hier werden allein die kleinen, runden Früchte genutzt.
Peppercress seeds | Ting Li Zi (Lepidii Semen): 15%
MINISTERKRAUT
Die winzigen Samen des Besenrauke–ähnlichen Kreuzblütlers Lepidium apetalum — eines unscheinbaren Ackerkrauts, dessen Samen zu Tausenden in flachen Schötchen reifen.
Lark's-tail | Bai Qian (Cynanchi Rhizoma): 15%
MINISTERKRAUT
Der Wurzelstock von Cynanchum stauntonii — eines Seidenpflanzengewächses aus den Feuchtgebieten Südchinas. Verwendet wird das feine, hellbraune Rhizom mit seinen zahlreichen Wurzelfäden.
Schlangenkürbis | Gua Lou (Trichosanthis Fructus): 10%
ASSISTENZKRAUT
Die Frucht der Schlangengurke Trichosanthes kirilowii — einer Kletterpflanze aus der Familie der Kürbisgewächse. Sowohl Fruchtfleisch (Shi) als auch Samen (Ren) finden Verwendung.
Mulberry root bark | Sang Bai Pi (Mori Cortex): 10%
ASSISTENZKRAUT
Die weiße Innenrinde der Maulbeerbaum–Wurzel (Morus alba) — vom selben Baum, der mit Blatt (Sang Ye) und Frucht gleich mehrere klassische Zutaten der Tradition liefert.
Balloon flower root | Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix): 10%
ASSISTENZKRAUT
Die Wurzel der Ballonblume Platycodon grandiflorus, deren Knospen sich wie kleine Ballons aufblähen, bevor sie aufspringen. In Korea ist dieselbe Wurzel als „Doraji“ eine alltägliche Gemüsebeilage.

BOTENKRAUT
Die Kerne der Aprikose Prunus armeniaca, in der bitteren Varietät seit Jahrtausenden Teil der chinesischen Rezepturtradition. Der Aprikosenhain ist in China seit alters ein poetisches Symbol für die Kunst der Kräuterkundigen.

💊 How to Take TCM Herbs Properly
Traditional Chinese herbal formulas consist of several plants that are combined according to the principles of TCM. In traditional practice, they are taken over an extended period of time and spread out throughout the day.
