Emptiness needs no light. Only a yes.
🜄 What does Chinese medicine say about this?
Winter belongs to the water element.
And the water wants to retreat. It wants to preserve, not consume.
But if you don't consciously shape this retreat —
if you keep going even though your inner voice has long been calling out —
an energetic void arises.
⚠️ Typical signs:
- You feel tired, but not relaxed.
- You are irritable, but cannot identify the cause.
- You withdraw even though you need closeness
- You feel empty, even though everything seems „okay.“
- You only feel yourself functioning
Emptiness is not failure.
It is a state of being.
And sometimes an invitation.
✨ What can really help you now:
1. Arrive at your place first thing in the morning — not at the world's.
Still in bed:
- Place your hands on your stomach.
- Breathe there.
- Feel that you are there — even without a task.
→ Your body is your place of return. Not your enemy.
2. Eat warm and soft foods—starting in the morning.
In winter, your body needs food that sustains it.
- 🥣 For example: Oatmeal with apple & cinnamon
- 🍐 Or: Pear compote with sesame seeds
- 🥬 No raw food, no cold yogurt.
→ Warmth gives your system stability. Cold intensifies the emptiness.
3. Move slowly — as if you want to remember.
- Don't do a fitness routine.
- Instead, soft swinging, pelvic circles, standing calmly.
- Stay connected. Not driven.
→ You are not a head with a to-do list. You are a body with rhythm.
4. Breathe regularly — not just when things get tough.
- 🫁 4 seconds on — 7 hold — 8 off
- Do this for 5 minutes a day.
- Preferably in the evening.
- Long exhalation = „I am safe.“
→ Long exhalation = signal to your system: „I am safe.“
→ Regularity is stronger than intensity.

5. Create an evening ritual — quiet and bonding.
From 9 p.m.:
- only warm, dimmed light
- no screen
- no hurry
🦶 Take a warm foot bath.
→ Then gently massage the Ni 01 (Yŏng Quán) point — lowers heart fire and strengthens your yin:

💛 Conclusion
You don't have to function.
You don't have to be „full.“.
You are allowed to be empty.
You are allowed to be there.
You can just be yourself.
You are not fighting against your body. You are fighting against an ancient winter program that wants to protect you.
