Brooding exhausts - trust nourishes

TCM ways out of the thought carousel and back to your center

Worry solves nothing. Trust allows what you cannot yet see to grow. Perhaps these words are not just in your head, but deep inside you.

Maybe you're brooding - about something that hasn't happened yet. Or will never happen. And while you're trying to think everything through, you feel something tightening inside you. A pressure. An inner circling. Too much.

What if you didn't have to solve everything? What if your body already knew how to calm down again?

Worry solves nothing. Trust allows what you cannot yet see to grow.

Worry solves nothing. Trust allows what you cannot yet see to grow.

🧠 Brooding from a TCM perspective - when thoughts stop flowing

In traditional Chinese medicine, excessive thinking is
assigned to the element earth.
It is connected to the functional circuit spleen-stomach - that energy,
that nourishes, stabilizes and centers you.

If this center is weakened, the mind can no longer work in an orderly fashion.
It starts to circle.
The Qi accumulates in the head.
The body loses substance - and you lose clarity.

One speaks of thought stagnation or an ascending Qi,
that is no longer grounded.

⚡️ This often manifests itself in the form of:

- Brooding and worrying
- Restlessness or nervousness
- Concentration problems
- Loss of appetite or emotional eating
- Tiredness after eating
- Restless or superficial sleep
- a coated, often slightly swollen tongue

🌿 What can help you find your center again
No more thinking.
But simple rituals that bring you back to feeling.
That guide your Qi downwards.
And remember: you are not a head with a body - you are whole.

🌿 Your little RITUAL for today:

🧘‍♂️ Qi Gong exercise - Parting the clouds
"I'll let the worries go."

3. tongue diagnosis: What does your center show you?

In TCM, the tongue is a mirror of your digestion and your thinking.
A thick coating in the center, teeth marks on the edge or a swollen shape often indicate that the spleen and center are weakened -
often associated with brooding, inner restlessness or poor sleep.

😴 Sleep problems - when brooding won't let you go even at night

In TCM, poor sleep is often linked to a weakened center and a restless Shen (mind). When the spleen is weakened, thoughts rise up more easily, circle around in your head - and keep you awake.

It's difficult to fall asleep, sleep remains superficial and you don't wake up feeling refreshed. But in Chinese medicine, sleep problems are more than just a symptom - they are an indication that the body and mind have lost their balance.

The good news: There are gentle ways to restore this balance.
In this video you will learn what TCM sees as the real cause of sleep problems and what solution it offers:

✨ Conclusion

Sometimes it's not knowledge that helps. But trust.
Sometimes it's not the next answer,
but the next breath that brings you back.
Back into your body.
In your belly.
In the moment.

Maybe then you will feel it:
Something comes loose.
And trust grows under the heaviness -
for what you cannot yet see.

What you let go of is allowed to rearrange itself. Even within you.
