Location:

The acupuncture point is located on the inside of the forearm, 3 transverse fingers (2 cun) from the flexor crease, between the tendons.

Inner Gate — Nùi Guān

This is one of the very important points in acupuncture with various effects. Thus, it acts on the chest and can therefore be used for pain and unpleasant sensations in the chest. However, these should always also be clarified by a doctor.

It has a strong calming effect on the mind and is therefore used in all states of anxiety and restlessness.

It is particularly effective for women suffering from premenstrual depression.

In addition to its effect on the heart and liver, it also acts on the stomach, specifically directing qi downward in the case of "rebellious stomach qi". This is a condition in which the stomach energy does not flow downwards as it would naturally, but rises upwards due to congestion, leading to nausea and vomiting.

The acupuncture point Pc 06 wird mit dem Mittelfinger etwa eine Minute lang mit mittlerem Druck kreisend gedrĂŒckt, bis die Stelle dumpf und leicht schwer wird. Das ist das GefĂŒhl, auf das auch Akupunkteure warten. Bei Übelkeit darf es lĂ€nger sein, bis zu drei Minuten, oder du nimmst ein Akupressurband, das den Punkt dauerhaft drĂŒckt.

Schießt es beim DrĂŒcken elektrisch in Daumen, Zeigefinger oder Mittelfinger, liegst du auf dem Nerv, der hier unter den Sehnen lĂ€uft. Rutsch dann einen halben Fingerbreit Richtung kleinen Finger und drĂŒck von dort.

Acupressure can be repeated several times a day (2 to 3 times) in case of acute problems.
