Interrupted Sequence — Liè Quē

This acupuncture point is used in TCM to eliminate pathogenic factors, such as wind-cold or wind-heat. The point distributes the lung qi and lowers it.

The point is used especially in the early stages of a cold, as it opens the pores of the skin, facilitating sweating. This allows the pathogenic factor, whether cold or heat, to be expelled. The symptoms in the stage are, sneezing, stiff neck, headache and a general aversion to cold.

In that case the Lu 07 Acupuncture point with the LI 04 Point used in common.

The nose is the sensory organ of the lungs and therefore this point is often used in case of a blocked or running nose. In this case, always together with the LI 20 Acupuncture point.

Lu 07 is an extraordinarily effective point with effect on the face and skull. It can therefore be combined with other points if the problem is in that area. It will direct the effect exactly there.

Course:
