Location:
The acupuncture point Lu 07 lies on the radius, 2 transverse fingers above the flexor fold. The name "interrupted sequence" comes from the fact that it leaves the classical course of the lung meridian and lies slightly outside the natural line of the same. It is located between the inner and outer sides of the forearm. Exactly on the side of the arm, which extends into the area of the thumb and index finger.
Interrupted Sequence — Liè Quē
This acupuncture point is used in TCM to eliminate pathogenic factors, such as wind-cold or wind-heat. The point distributes the lung qi and lowers it.
The point is used especially in the early stages of a cold, as it opens the pores of the skin, facilitating sweating. This allows the pathogenic factor, whether cold or heat, to be expelled. The symptoms in the stage are, sneezing, stiff neck, headache and a general aversion to cold.

The nose is the sensory organ of the lungs and therefore this point is often used in case of a blocked or running nose. In this case, always together with the LI 20 Acupuncture point.
