It takes what you eat and turns it into Qi and blood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When the spleen is strong:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You digest well, without bloating, without feeling heavy<\/li>\n<li>You have energy after eating, not tiredness<\/li>\n<li>Your head is clear<\/li>\n<li>Your tissue is firm, not swollen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If the spleen is weak:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moisture is created - the \u201ewaste\u201c of the incomplete transformation<\/li>\n<li>You feel heavy, tired, \u201efull\u201c<\/li>\n<li>The head is foggy<\/li>\n<li>Water collects where it shouldn't be<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Which weakens the spleen:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cold food - raw food, smoothies, ice cream, cold drinks<\/li>\n<li>Too many sweets - sugar, but also too much fruit<\/li>\n<li>Too much moisture - dairy products, wheat, fatty food<\/li>\n<li>Irregular eating - sometimes a lot, sometimes nothing<\/li>\n<li>Too much brooding - this also exhausts the spleen<strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udce3 Here's the problem with juice cures:<\/strong> Juices are cold, raw, liquid, sweet - anything that weakens the spleen. You think you are \u201edetoxifying\u201c. In reality, you are depleting the very organ that is responsible for transformation.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. the liver - the conductor of the flow<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The liver has a special task in TCM: it ensures that everything flows.<\/p>\n<p>Qi must flow. Blood must flow. Emotions must flow. They separate \u201ecloudy\u201c from \u201eclear\u201c and excrete what is not needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If the kidneys are strong:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have stamina, not just energy for the sprint<\/li>\n<li>Your lower back is stable<\/li>\n<li>Your water flows well - not too often, not too little<\/li>\n<li>You sleep soundly and wake up refreshed<\/li>\n<li>You feel rooted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If the kidneys are weakened:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deep exhaustion that does not improve with sleep<\/li>\n<li>Lower back hurts<\/li>\n<li>You often have to go to the toilet at night<\/li>\n<li>You get cold easily, especially your hands and feet<\/li>\n<li>Fear, insecurity, lack of trust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Which exhausts the kidneys:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chronic stress - cortisol burns kidney essence<\/li>\n<li>Too little sleep - for years<\/li>\n<li>Too much coffee - fuels without replenishing<\/li>\n<li>Revision - giving more than you have<\/li>\n<li>Too many cold drinks - cool the kidney fire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83d\udce3 <strong>Here's why radical fasting is dangerous:<\/strong> When you fast, the body draws on its reserves. The kidneys have to supply what doesn't come from outside.<br><strong>Short:<\/strong> <em>goes<\/em>.<br><strong>Long:<\/strong> <em>exhausts the root.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>\ud83d\udd2c What modern research confirms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Science has discovered amazing things in recent years - and confirmed much of what TCM has been teaching for thousands of years. At the same time, it shows why most detox programs are not only useless - but can also be harmful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your liver works in three phases<br><\/strong>Phase I breaks down pollutants. This produces intermediate products that are more aggressive than the original substances. Phase II must neutralize these immediately - it needs amino acids, B vitamins and sulphur compounds to do so. In phase III, the neutralized substances are excreted via the bile and kidneys - but only if phase II has delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Juice cures, radical fasting, detox teas - they all deliver practically nothing in Phase II. The intermediate products remain in the system. Phase III has nothing to remove. You light the fire - but don't add any fuel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And it gets worse:<\/strong> Many detox programs focus on juices and fruit - i.e. fructose. Fructose is converted directly into fat in the liver, 15 times more than glucose. At the same time, blood sugar levels fluctuate massively. You think you are detoxifying - in reality you are flooding the liver and destabilizing your metabolism. One in three people already have a fatty liver without knowing it. 9 days without added sugar measurably improves liver values.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What really helps instead of detox cures<br>Meal breaks<\/strong> - not cures that last for days. In 2016, the Nobel Prize was awarded for research into autophagy: your cells clear away damaged components during breaks from eating. 4-5 hours without snacking is enough. Three meals, real breaks - that's more detoxification than any detox week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And sleep<\/strong> - No program comes close to what your body does at night. During deep sleep, the brain cleanses itself via the glymphatic system. Sleeping pills have been proven to disrupt this process. If you go on a week-long juice diet but are glued to your cell phone at midnight, you haven't gained anything.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201eFlushing out toxins\u201c - a term without content<br><\/strong>Ask a detox provider: What toxins exactly? How are they measured? Where do they go? Most of them can't answer that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What really helps:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The liver needs protein, cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage), bitter substances - and less sugar and alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Kidneys need water, warmth, breaks - and less stress and coffee<\/li>\n<li>The gut needs fiber, exercise, breaks from eating - and fewer convenience foods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The bridge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Science says: Your body cleanses itself - support it in the process.<br>TCM says: strengthen the center, move the liver, protect the kidneys.<\/p>\n<p>Both say: <em><strong>Stop working against your body. Work with it.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>\ud83d\udda4 The 5 pillars of true \u201edetoxification\u201c<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Forget juice cures. Forget extreme detox. TCM knows another way -<br>Not radical, but effective.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1\ufe0f\u20e3 Warming the center - so that transformation is possible<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3>The principle:<\/h3>\n<p>The spleen works like a cooking pot. It needs heat in order to transform.<\/p>\n<p>Cold, raw food is like throwing ice into this pot.
